Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself
My interest in discovering ways to compel change adoption and implement effective Leadership was initially motivated by the revelation of my own personal failures managing the influence I had as a younger person. This made the process of discovery uniquely challenging because many of the lessons learned revealed a previous inefficacy. I suppose, in retrospect, the constant juxtaposition of newfound enlightenment cloaked in the memory of missed opportunities was the catalyst that kept me searching for answers, tools, methodologies, and strategies to better prepare myself for the next Leadership opportunity.
I am currently employed at Valero Energy in San Antonio, Texas as Director of Logistics Control & System Optimization where I am responsible for preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes to business processes, job roles, systems, and technology ensuring initiatives meet objectives.
My passion for excellence in Leadership goes beyond the realm of business. As a husband and father of three, exemplifying and instilling Leadership skills in those closest to me is paramount. I play golf, enjoy fly fishing and love to travel, seeing everyday experiences as opportunities to expand potential.
